About Us
Sniff Dogs was founded by two mothers of teenage boys. They have first hand, street level, understanding of the availability of education and tools to assist them in raising drug free children and also have witnessed the pervasive use and impact of drugs in the workplace. Debra founded Sniff Dogs when she experienced the complexities of monitoring her sons. Debra's son was caught with marijuana associated with a traffic violation. While that realization was an eye opener, the fact that there was such a lack of in home drug prevention tools available motivated her to launch Sniff Dogs. She wanted to provide parents with the same tools law enforcement and schools use to monitor for drug possession, however, without engaging law enforcement or school administration. With research found reliability of in home drug testing questionable and too conflict based. Debra knew if parents were empowered to implement drug prevention discreetly and within the privacy of their home it may be a catalyst for action.
Debra and Debbie have both managed large teams, have led strategic and operationally complex initiatives which required cross functional organizational alignment and have developed partnership models within and outside of their companies. These skills have helped integrate Sniff Dogs into the drug prevention ecosystem where they partner with community drug prevention coalitions. Along with their handlers, Debra and Debbie are certified with the National Narcotic Detector Dog Association (NNDDA), speak regulary on the topic of drug detection and are advocates for drug free workplaces, homes and schools.
Debra Stone
Co-Founder and CEO. Ms. Stone is a graduate of University of Iowa with emphases in communications, psychology and business and was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Her career has been in emerging technologies working for both consulting and solutions companies including Cambridge Technology Partners, Sapient, ATT Wireless and Avaya. Ms. Stone has held senior leadership roles in Sales, Marketing and Operations where her skills for taking new emerging technologies to market and organizational transformation were leveraged. She is the proud mother of two teenage boys and resides in Summit, NJ.
Debbie Kemp
Co-Founder and Vice President. Ms. Kemp received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from the University of Kansas. She has over 20 years of experience as a global senior Human Resource executive in the investment banking/securities, real estate, and telecommunications industries. Highly accomplished in HR Department start-ups and turnarounds and mergers & acquisitions. She is the mother of one teenage boy and they reside in Hoboken, NJ.
